Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
